Yeah. That’s not actual butter they put on there.

Just a flavoring.

Doesn’t surprise me it had a chemical taste. That’s why I sneak snacks in to the theater.

Used app to purchase and was hit with fee

I hadn’t used the app before for purchases so I called CS and agent said it was simple. I had a pass and CSR explained how to put the code in. Was going through the app because with the dumb have to have an assigned seat now, figured I’d get things done before so we wouldn’t have to get there an hour early just to get a decent seat. Get all the way through and at the end there’s now a convenience fee of $1.50 per pass. App didn’t say it was a convenience fee though, just a fee. It think it’s *** they charge as much as they do, push u to the app and then hit u with a fee to use it. Spoke to the manager and he basically compared it to Ticket Master and the fee they pay. Difference is I’ve already paid for my movie pass, I just needed a seat.

Disappointed

The new reserved seating policy is a horrible idea. 1. Slowed the line to purschase tickets at box office. 2. Can’t change seats if u are obstructed or annoyed to other viewers. 3. New Seating policy

My entire family hates the new seating policy where a moviegoeer must select seating when purchasing tickets. We attend 3-4 movies a month but will not be doing so any longer less the "preselected seating" policy is eliminated.

Movie Selections Censored

I and many other seniors in my region regularly have to travel outside of the area in order to see the movies that are advertised. The local Regal Cinema will not show movies that it deems controversial or that will not fill the theaters. However, it does show faith based movies without question, even if these movies do not attract large audiences. I am aware of this because I have attended these movies and more than one occasion I was either alone or with a pastor from a local church at the movie. Certain movies (such as BOY ERASED, MARY, QUEEN OF SCOTS, THE FAVOURITE, FLORENCE FOSTER JENKINS, etc.,) are not to be shown in my area. If you want to see advertised movies that are not cartoons, faith based or action movies, you have to travel to New York of Philadelphia. The manager of the local theater explained the rationale but I consider this censorship.

Unopened bottle of wine not to be consumed there caused me a problem

It was Black Friday the busy shopping day and I went to Union Square Regal Theater to see a movie. As I handed over my ticket I was asked to let a man search my bags. The man was searching my bag did not see the bottle but I told him be careful there is a bottle of wine. He told me I could not bring a bottle of wine into theater. He called a manager who made me get a refund for ticket. I asked them to hold the bottle so I could see the movie , they said NO! I am a 73 year old woman, I just wanted to see a movie , I have never seen a posting saying you cannot bring a unopened wine bottle into theater. I have never seen anything saying if you shop before you go to there your purchases are subject to having your ticket revoked. I kept telling them if they don't post these things people do not know them, have never seen anything posted. This just ruined the day for me , I am too old to be treated with no respect.

How did you make it to 73 without knowing you can't bring outside food and drink into most theaters? All they did was their job.

It was not open it was a gift. There jobs is not to harass customers and no sign was posted .

Had been going to this theater for 15 years and was never had my bags looked through. I have been checked on Broadway but not a neighborhood theater. IT WAS A GIFT FOR SOMEONE , A holiday gift.

Not very good...

I was charged twice for tickets. I kept on getting the run around when trying to get a refund. May never use regal again.

I went there with my husband on 6/30/2018, after paying for our tickects we went to buy popcorn, we spended over 30 in line, the guys were talking and the manager just walking around, everybody was upset in the line waiting to be attended. After that we are moving ti a better cinema with good customer service.

Commercial

Movie time was 1:10...so far we have sat through 25 minutes of commercials. And still no movie. I won't be back to regal theaters. Wait for it.... It's been total of 44 Minutes! WOW!

When purchasing the tickets , the refund option was unavailable. I can to the theater and was told I had to call customer service. I called customer service and have yet to get a call back.

You have to read the refund policy. They dont offer refunds after showtime!

For extenuating circumstances you need to consult the theater, if the theater refused to provide replacement tickets at the theater or if you font want to get your replacement tickets and still insist to get you refund, then say goodbye to your money. They dont offer refunds after the showtime!

Won't be back to Regal

All the Regal cinemas here in Vegas are in casinos and you have to walk through LOTS of cigarette smoke to get there and both my husband and I are allergic to it. They need to add a separate entrance for just the theater.

We are loyal customers. Went to movies like we usually do on Mondays. Website lists open at 11am. Walked in door to have an employee rudely state, " we are not open yet. Leave"! If they werent open why was door unlocked! On our way the see movie at Cinepolis.

Love my regal!! Love the reclining seats!!

Sorry to say but a website is NOT THE BUSINESS!!!! While I’m sure you think you’ve been maligned there is a reality you are ignoring in favor of playing the victim, the local theater DOES NOT have control over the website!!!!! So all you are doing is messing with a theater that spoke to you briskly. No crime has been committed and you are fishing for something free.

Get over yourself princess this is life. I myself just went to my local regal yesterday for the first showing of panther. They opened the doors 30 mins before the first show which happened to be 1230.

Since a lot of regal are in shopping centers so I spent time with my friends and family while we waited in the cold. Instead of being a buthurt little crybaby we made our own fun exploring the shops.
