Cutting down on employees at El Dorado Hills theater? Restrooms cluttered - both men's and women's were short on paper towels. Spent about 5+ minutes waiting for the movie to come on the screen -

El Dorado Hills, continued ..... Waited @5+ minutes for the movie (yes including commercials) to start while at least 5 people left the theater to tell someone we were all waiting! Not the first time we've had this problem. Suggest you hire at least one more person to run the screens and maybe check the bathrooms periodically. Once this was a good theater to travel to!

Hire someone to make sure the movies start on time and someone to clean the bathrooms!

So. Many. COMMERCIALS?

Honestly why are there SO MANY COMMERCIALS at regal theatres right now? For a 2pm showtime, commercials play for ten minutes before previews, and then again BETWEEN previews. We go to the movies to avoid commercials - what is going on? Regal, do better.

Good reason to NOT go to the movies in a theater where you pay to watch commercials. Best to subscribe to Netflix, etal or rent the DVD. You also avoid "the great unwashed."

Avoid Alice in the box office

I get it's a minimum wage job, I get Alice is a HS kid - BUT... to have ZERO personality, and less then ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE is not OK. Paying customers would like a smile, a friendly voice and a helpful person, Alice has none of those qualities! I'm not expecting a song and dance, but come one - put a little effort into HELPING the paying customer - Helpful hint to Regal - cut that one lose !

Not a good place

We came to Regal in New Albany last week and it was 45 minutes after start time for Joker. It looked like you combined 2 movie times because there weren't many people. That was Sunday October 26th. Said I'd never come back. Today, November 3rd, I received an email for birthday popcorn. The stupid kid could not find how to validate the email. I told him ro forget it, but paid $10.40 for 2 tickets. Never again. I'll be going to Baxter Cinema in Louisville. The tickets are only $6. It's farther to drive, but no more coming here. I'm going to get my tickets from them in bulk. You are no doubt Deplorable Republicans. All about the money. You wont EVER get any more of mine. Mark West Regal member 502-439-****

Terrible

Worst customer service ever. I brought five tickets to go to the theater. I was taking my son and his friends. A fight broke out and the police shut the theater down. Every time I called customer service they gave me the run-around. It was one excuse after the other. It took me two days to finally talk to someone who can help me. And it's going to take me another three to five business days just to get my money back. Terrible

Regal credits and expiration

I requested a hearing device with close caption that fits in the cup holder. The manager gave me a pair of glasses for vision impaired . He said that was all they had. I was led to believe that it also has a hearing device with closed caption but it does not. It's only for people who have a problem seeing the screen. That manager obviously was inexperienced, four of the workers had to try to locate him and I was standing at the counter for closed to 35 -40 minutes after I arrived to get the device. I had spoken to the ticket office lady two of the ushers and two of the people working behind the candy counter who were trying to locate the assistant manager on his walkie-talkie. he could have been in one of the theaters watching the movie because obviously he was not on the floor or would have heard one of the five pages that were made to him. This is unacceptable. This had caused me a great inconvenience. A manager or assistant should be available and be able to be reached. Another time prior to that at another time, the device had not been charged up so within 20 minutes after turning it on it shut off at the same theater. I could not get up and walk through the dark back to the lobby to try to locate the person, walk out, walk to the front, wait for the person to come, miss the movie, or possibly fall going down the stairs to try to get a device that was fully charged and return. I was not able to stay and wait for the next showing to begin. I have been to other theaters and have never had problems with the right device provided and the charged device. when I turn it in at the end and had to get my driver's license the answer was oh sometimes we don't have a chance to charge them up completely and I guess yours wasn't fully charged.. I received 4 credits but due to my recent surgery and inability to get out the 88 days which expires September 23rd I needed another week or two added on to that. Customer service told me the other day that they cannot increase the expiration date. One week we were threatened with a hurricane and I was incapacitated from my surgery and could not get to the theater to use the movie passes. Complaint

Went to the theater on friday for 4:30 show, staff does like speaking to customers, wasn't greeted when we approached the concession stand employees huddle up talking never asked if we need anything so went to our movie walking in it smelled really bad like urine we moved 3 times then i went to the ticket lady asking her is tgere another theater we could go to or could she have someone come spray something? Her response was "We never had any problems before"... the manager came looking with his phone for the urine..... wow i said you won't see it you can smell it... so he sprayed something, did work making my experience very uncomfortable to smell that for over 3 hrs! The theater wasn't clean candy rappers,popcorn on the floor sticky by the seats in two sections while huddled up gossiping should have be cleaning recleaning for the guest. Im not from here and i will never go back to this place when ever im back.

Terrible

Need a head corporate employee resolve a situation.Since Monday,I am distressed & disappointed, the handle of my complaint. I was overcharged and verbally harassed by customers. I got the blame. response I received I apologize. You (me) are confused. My civil rights were violated, I am autistic; by being provided the appropriate environment, to solve the issue, A video shows, my POV is I hear nothing since I cannot process not communicate when I am under stress.I went watched the movie, upset, felt threatened in fear for my life. I am confused? No I have Asperger’s syndrome.

Missing Warren Theater

Ive been in Wichita nefore what was Warren theaters. and I understand when a Company sells to another there.are changes. But i must tell you I truly beleive the Theater will die off within a few years. Its not the same at all . Food the staff which are still pretty good to the restuarant. Esp the restuarant. Food choices are that great and Ive reduced eating there to less than 50 % . Food is fair but honestly even QT and restuarants next to the old Warren are alot better. Ove also reduced my overall going to this theater, Ive noticied the amount of people going into it arent even close to the crowds before,

I have noticed that a lot of theaters in my district are losing managers left and right because of this merger with Cineworld, quite a few of them are dangerously low on managers,does that mean some might close leaving some.of us out of a job

Rather wait for movies on demand or rent

I haven been at the movies for a few years and it seems, to me, that things have changed. The ticket sales person was very rude. He was not helpful when asked what was the difference between the different movie formats (2D and 2D Screenx). The concession stand employee was not courteous at all, he was visibly annoyed of the fact that he was tending to us. There was a strong musty smell inside the theater. The movie volume seems to be unnecessarily to high.

Disgruntled Customer

Went to purchase matinee tickets on the Regal App and there was a service fee of $8.10 added to order...I canceled and went on website to complete transaction and for the same transaction the service fee was $7.49 (a little less than the App).either way the service fee is the price of a matinee ticket!!! :-(( Not a happy customer. We have have been loyal to Regal (have lots of reward points accumulated) but willing to forgoe and start going somewhere else that doesnt charge an abnoxious service fee.

Stressful/nonrelaxing

I also agree. That is one of the reasons why I am on this website. I go to the movies to relax and be stressfree not to look for my seat in the dark and hope I'm not sitting next to a group of loud kids or obnoxious people. Almost saw two fights yesterday because of assigned seating in Kingston ma. The people wouldn't get off the seats that were assigned to the seats. I'm not at a concert or sporting game I'm at the movies paying ridiculous money and can't even just enjoy going in and getting my own seat. So when we left after being in a seat I was totally uncomfortable in I went to the manager which completely disregarded my complaint and along come four other women complaining about the same thing. The manager completely disregarded all of us. I couldn't believe the lack of professionalism and courtesy. So again whose bright ideas was this to assign seats at the movies?

Absolutely the dumbest idea for a movie theater. Picture the fights and craziness when people are in the wrong seats. The problems with families trying to get all the kids in the correct seats.
