Regal Cinemas Crown Club Account Review from Mountain View, California

Trying to cancel my Reward card but I've been on hold twice the last couple days for 26 minutes and left a voicemail each time asking to be called back so I can cancel my account. I updated my contact info on my account to Regals address in TN and changed my name to Delete Me and for phone number I put their toll free customer service number. Changed the email address on the account to their customer service email. If an auto email emails itself will that tear the fabric of the galaxy and make a humungous black hole where Regal used to be?

This is complete BS. Someone is desperately trying to get a payoff.

Were the trailers racist, too? Learn to spell!!!

Adjust your policy!!!!

On February 13, 2016 at 3:50pm with a whole 6 cars in parking lot for a 10 theater my 26 yr old daughter and I along with my 3 month old grand daughter tried to see how to be single we were told by staff that it is company policy not to allow children under 18 into rated R movies hum last I checked 17 and under accompanied with an adult over 18! What the ***! Her and I just saw dead pool there yesterday with the baby and no one said anything!!!reading comments here it has happened to others regal theaters doesn't care about their customers I'll NEVER go back to a regal and I will be sure to share my story with every GM worker I know in my husbands plant and everyone I know!

Um. That is kinda an official policy for ALL movie theaters… I have worked for both Starplex (and AMC after Starplex was bought out by them) and Regal (two of the biggest theater chains, if not THE biggest), and just like we have to card for rated R movies (everyone carded must be at least 17 with an ID or be with someone for the duration of the movie who's at least 21 with an ID), children 5 and under ARE NOT ALLOWED in any rated R films, regardless if they're accompanied by an adult.

Rated R movies, by common sense, is not something that's appropriate to bring young kids to. This policy is not "just a Regal thing", it's to ensure that EVERYONE enjoys their movie-going experience by not having a toddler in the theater screaming through the whole movie… Because, you know, THEY paid the same prices for an enjoyable experience too at the movies, it's not just about you…

I can assure you, other moviegoers will be relieved to hear that you will no longer be bringing your bawling baby to movies, thus not ruining their movie experience. Your staying home probably will improve business for Regal in the long run! Thanks!

#1126417

you're an *** because it's the law fool. look it up. if a child is under 7 or 8 ,wherever it is, they cant see the movie, besides you shouldn't be bringing a baby to see a movie that's rated R anyway, *** parenting on both of you

Regal Cinemas Movie Ticket Review from North Charleston, South Carolina

I want to know why I can't bring my kid in to watch dead pool? I mean you can be *** in America but heaven forbid you let a 10 month old baby that is asleep into a marvel movie. Especially considering it is my daughter.

youre a *** person. you lack common sense too.

think about why you cant bring a baby to see a movie where you blow peoples faces off and that has nudity.

youre a bad parent if you want to do that. smh you people love complaining about your own stupidity

@PissedConsumer1126419

It's a 10 month old baby. I think the reason is because people are d@***n sick and tired of ignorant parents bringing brats into movies and letting them cry, thus ruining the experience for others.

I was recently at a movie where a woman let her 1 year old scream and she made no effort to remove the child. It was comical when about 5 moviegoers finally chased this woman out of the theater. And I mean they literally chased her out! The audience applauded.

Good for this theater standing their ground. The letter writer states the child was asleep. How long would that child stay asleep, once the movie came on?

Trust me, parent of 10 month old, no one wants to see you with your child, entering thru those theater doors. Get a babysitter or STAY HOME!

Regal Cinemas Age Policy Review

My wife and I have a 4 month old son. We never get a chance to go out and when we got a chance we couldn't even enter the theater because our 4 month old couldn't be with us because of the movie rating. The theater is a joke. We have been to a few other different theaters that allow it . They have lost my business for sure

Regal Cinemas Imax Review from Miami Beach, Florida

Terrible experience !!!!! Got tickets on fandango , came to the movie theatre , only to find out they will not let us in without ID !!!! I had no idea !!!! And the confirmation on Fandango never stated that one needs to have an ID to go in . If the new policy is that one needs an ID to get in the theater , because now you charge much more for the ticket and you can reserve the seat , then you better communicate this ! Really bad experience ! We didn't get in !!!!

Other Product Review

Regal has gone 100% downhill in recent year's. The prices climb and with Regal 12's new remodel I need to get to a movie close to an hour beforehand in order to be able to get more than 1 seat next to another. This will be my last trip to Regal. At least at AMC I can reserve a seat and know what I am walking into.

I received a gift card as a present for $25 . Upon presenting the card to the theatre they said the card was invalid.

I called Regal, spoke with four separate representatives, giving me four separate bogus answers with the unfortunate conclusion that they will not help me by activating my card.

Since it was a gift, there is no receipt, yet they can tell me I have a $25 balance but refuse to activate it. The card was from a third party retailer purchaced December 2018 and apparently the theatre has been declining a bunch of these cards.

Regal Cinemas Staff Review

At the Regal cinema at Temecula Promenade, I have witnessed the employees being treated extremely poorly by the managers and I have yet to find any way to report their poor and unethical conduct. From what I've seen online- this is a very common occurrence that Regal refuses to correct.

Regal Cinemas - Movie Ticket Review from Gaithersburg, Maryland

I hate the assigned seating policy. I know that people have been going online to buy a ticket but why cant they show up early if their so bothered by not finding a seat. I feel that ruins the whole experience of going to movies. Going to movies are like last minute plans you make at dinner or when you're out shopping. As I was assigned my seat, I felt uncomfortable the whole time as if I was some child told were to sit at lunch. And possibly ruined my chances of ever going back to a movie theater. I just might as well wait till the movie comes out on dvd. Any how if I pay for my ticket I feel I should get to picl where I please.

FREEZING! And WHO needs reclining seats? TOO EXPENSIVE!

FREEZING!!!! Could not enjoy the film, I was too busy thinking about how COLD I was. Probably 50*F in there--the only difference between outside and inside was the wind. I was already bundled up because of the weather--two pairs of socks, jeans, t-shirt, long-sleeved shirt, sweatshirt, jacket, scarf, AND my brother's winter gloves, but I was still shivering!!! I should've worn snowboots, because my feet were blocks of ice. Next, why do they ONLY have reclining seats, that you have to pay more for?? I could easily enjoy sitting in the old seats for the old price. I had a gift card, or I would have skipped the movie once I found out how much it was. I want the money back on my card; at least I'd know to wear a snowsuit next time.

Your experience with Angie and Marybeth was because they're cool with each other. If a manager and coworker get along the manager is going to stand by their coworkers no matter what lol. I'm not saying what they did was acceptable, just telling you why Marybeth wasn't helpful...

Regal Cinemas Movie Ticket Review from Suffolk, Virginia

I purchased tickets to see goosebumps for tomorrow Sat 17th 1:30. The date apparently did t change after I switched it from today to tomorrow. I contacted Fandango and they informed me they couldn't help me. I had to purchase another set of tickets for the correct date. I spent $64.00 for 2 adults and 2 kids. I frequent the Regal and I just wanted a credit for the future not to be out $34.00. Please help. My regal customer number is 600649****86941****. Anything you can do to help with just a credit for the tickets would be much appreciated.

Regal Cinemas - Manager Review from Nashville, Tennessee

Hello, My fiancé and I went to see Everest at the Mount Juliet theater last night at 10:45. During the previews, there were three people in the theater - one man and us. As the movie began, three young adults walled in using their phone flashlights to find seats. They were talking loudly about how scary the dark theater was. They did not stop talking for the majority of the movie, even after I shushed them, against my better judgement. When I left the theater to find an attendant or manager, there were none to be found. I searched the hallway, the entrance to any theater I walked by, the box office, the concessions, and even through an open door to what I assume was the kitchen, all to no avail. I understand that Regal Cinemas cannot control other people's behavior. I also understand that the loss of my patronage would not make any difference in the Regal pocketbook, if I thought that I could follow through with that threat, however I want to make my voice heard. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of service and consideration we were shown. We paid nearly $25 to be disturbed and annoyed for two hours.
